Visitor from NZ South island – To calm an anxious mind
A YAD (Young Adult Division) from FGS South Island and her parent visit FGS North island.
This was their first time to the North island premises. They walked in the beautiful zen garden landscape, the “Prince Siddhartha art exhibition” and the Pagoda.
They expressed the architecture of the Pagoda is very unique, particular the water curtains along the path.
It has presented a very quiet, clean and calmness in the mind.
Abbess Manshin received the visitors in the VIP room. She further explained a quiet and clean environment has the ability to calm the anxious mind, without the use of many words and objects. The visitors can explored their inner thoughts and mind through silent. Abbess also hopes the great wisdom and teaching of the great compassionate Buddha will enhance our quality of life, if everyone applies them into our daily life.
