Uxbridge’s New Curator Visits Fo Guang Shan
Uxbridge’s new Curator Balamohan Shingade and ex-Curator Tony Morgan visited on 9th January in order to thank the Temple for its long time co-operation with the art centre and hoping to continue this good relationship under Balamohan’s new leadership.
Venerable Juehao gave “2014 BLIA Activities Report” to Tony to wish him well on life after time at Uxbridge. Then she showed them around the Temple including the art exhibition “Bodhisattva, where are you?” This process showed Balamohan how the Temple is trying to promote Humanistic Buddhism through multiculturalism.
Through this short trip, Balamohan very much liked the architecture, culture and atmosphere of the Temple. He hopes to continue the friendly relationship and will bring pieces from more artists to share with the public in order to continue the communication between different cultures.
