13th July – Q & A session with Venerable Abbess ManShin
It is the second day of the ANZBYC, the Q & A session with Venerable Abbess ManShin is one of the main highlights.
The main challenge face by the young participant is on stress handling. Abbess gave a good example of a basketball. The ball will bounce higher when there is more pressure. She mentioned having stress would always be part of our life, embrace it and integrate into our life.
She encourages everyone to work and complete the most difficult task to transcend us. Abbess invited the former leaders to share their experience, including the current YAD leaders.
Their biggest motivations to perseverant are the encouragement, support and guidance by Venerable Abbess ManShin, other venerables and other senior BLIA members.
This is a 2 hours Q &A lighthearted session. The youth has a better understanding in the Buddhism and its philosophy.
The advice from Abbess to the youth is to explore and contemplate on their inner thoughts and do more reading; add more facet into their live.
