Increasing Wisdom to Deal with the Public
Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) south island New Zealand conducted the 6th diligent study group on 22nd July. Susie Lee led 6 BLIA members to study Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s article – “learn to deal with public”, Fo Guang Shan south island New Zealand supervisor Venerable Jue Xi had provided guidance. Everyone had shared their stories or experience regarding this topic: Jack Liu shared that he once had to deal with an angry colleague in a meeting but luckily he remembered the phrases from Venerable Master Hsing Yun article and did not lose control. President Lee shared that she had experience dealing with people from all walks of life; only through the wisdom of dharma can she handle them with ease.
Susie shared her experience while she transferred from Philips Company to Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc and she learnt ways to deal with different management. Mei Er stated that the article had mentioned the benefit of making good connection and this helped her a lot during her visit to Australia. Venerable Jue Xi concluded by saying that human beings are imperfect, but we need to learn to make things easier for people and also think on their behalf. These are good ways to deal with the public. Venerable Jue Xi also encouraged members to continue reading Master’s articles which can improve wisdom and help them to deal with matters with ease.
