Spreads the Wisdom of Master Hsing Yun with Travellers
In order for the people travelling to Christchurch learned Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s wisdom, Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island temple supervisor Venerable Jue Xi, Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island New Zealand President See Shen Lee, Vice President Louisa Kuo, and five BLIA directors held a book donation ceremony “Sharing wisdom with travelers” at Tower Junction Motor Lodge, Riccarton on the 7th of January. A total of 17 copies of《366 Days with Wisdom》by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, printed in both English and Chinese were donated.
The owner of the lodge, Anna, and two representatives of the staff member accepted the books donation. Anna stated that she is a sincere devotees and she really appreciates the donation. She hopes the books can introduce Humanistic Buddhism to the guests and allow them to learn the wisdom of Venerable Master Hsing Yun and faced the life with positive attitude.
BLIA South Island President Lee stated that “This is just the beginning of ‘Sharing wisdom with travelers’ event, we will continue to promote this activity to allow more people to be introduced to Venerable Master’s wisdom, and to give them spiritual support when they need it.”
Vice President Louisa Kuo also shared that “It is our responsibility to spread Venerable Master’s wisdom to every corner of the world, especially in Christchurch. Even though it is far away from the rest of the world, however, every person who is travelling to Christchurch can cherish some wisdom with them by reading 《366 Days with Wisdom》. Thus, ‘Sharing wisdom with travelers’ is a positive and meaningful event.
