Manukau Police Joins the Planning for the Next “Festival of Culture Sharing”
On 19th December, Manukau Police Officer Neil Phillip and 4 colleagues joined Venerable Abbess Manshin, Minister in Charge Venerable Juehao, other Venerables, BLIA North Island Vice-president Linda Daniell and Board Member Sally to plan for next session of “Festival of Culture Sharing”
Sally explained that due to teacher and parent’s positive feedback toward “Festival of Culture Sharing” they will once again plan to show the short films that were played last time.
The police praise the ideals of “3 Good Deeds and 4 Kinds of Giving” promoted by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Not only can it beautify mind and purify society, it can also give people right life values. It is great having the temple here because it has provided many support to the police and improved the law and order of the area.
The Abbess gave the officers gifts of Bodhi leaves in order to thank the police for their hard work toward improving society and helping to support “3G and 4G”.
