Point View Fun Walk – Raising Funds for ANZBYC

In order to raise funds for the upcoming ANZBYC, North Island YAD members organised a “Round the Point View Park Fun Walk” on 24th March at 4:00pm. Local MP Jami Lee Ross joined the group in support, which also included Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Rulian, BLIA chairperson Dolly Tsai, and 30 BLIA and YAD members.

YAD team 1 leader Tina and team 2 leaders Annjo explained the day’s route to everyone and thanked all for supporting this fundraising event. At the end of the walk, they presented the day’s completion certificate. Mr Ross thanked YAD for inviting him to the walk, and praised their meticulous effort on organising the event. The Abbess then encouraged the youth to organise more group activities, thus unleashing the energy of youth and the Bodhisattva spirit of “Mutual benefit to self and others”.

After the joyful and relaxing walk around the track, YAD members once again everyone for supporting this fundraising fun walk.
