XuTong Tian Chinese Ink Painting Final Inspection

Upon the reopening of Fo Guang Yuan (FGY) Art Gallery Christchurch, New Zealand, FGY had held their second exhibition “Travelling Exhibition of XuTong Tian’s Ink Painting” by Artist XuTong Tian, a Professor from Tsinghua University, Beijing on 12th November, 2016. A day before the exhibition, Professor XuTong Tian, his beloved wife and daughter were welcomed by FGY South Island minister in charge, Venerable Jue Xi and BLIA’s member to review the progress of the exhibition hall.

Besides that, Venerable Jue Xi had also showed Professor Tian the architectural uniqueness of the temple. Professor Tian were astonished with the effort, motivation and creativity of the crew in setting the exhibition hall presenting it appropriately, blending the space of a temple into a sparkle of elegant and vivid Zen environment.

Both parties had exchanged and expressed their opinions in making the opening ceremony successful. They hopes that thru the artistic conception of Chinese Ink painting, it will provide an enlightenment and inspiration to the residence of Christchurch towards Humanistic Buddhism.
