NZ Police Inspector Rakesh Interview by BLTV HQ
New Zeland Police Inspector Rakesh Naidoo travelled with Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) New Zealand members to Fo Guang Shan (FGS) headquarter Taiwan to participate the 2014 BLIA World Headquarter Annual General Meeting. FGS Venerable Abbess Manshin shows Inspector Rakesh a tour in FGS headquarter kitchen, Buddhist College male students classroom, children home, great practice shrine, Sutra Correction department and Buddha Memorial Centre. Inspector Rakesh used his sharp mind to observe the enrich, kindness, connotation of actions, works done by humanistic Buddhism.
Inspector Rakesh passionate in the work of “spiritual project”, he always curious and admire the spirit of FGS monastic order and BLIA devotees in propagating the Buddha’s dharma. As in this journey he finally found out and stated “This is a meaningful and unique journey, as I finally enter the FGS headquarter that propagated the humanistic Buddhism. I can sense the strong wave that keep the dharma flowing”.
Rakesh also mentioned that he felt the headquarter calmness are similar like return to home. FGS New Zealand’s temples are the copy version of FGS headquarter as they propagate the compassion and dedication, by providing the servicing and achieving the “three good deeds, four givings and five pentagon of harmonious” that promoted by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, which sustain the Buddhism’s teaching.
Inspector Rakesh interviewed by FGS’s three general Media, which are: Buddha’s Light Television, Life News Agency and Merit times. Rakesh was humble and praise that Fo Guang Shan and New Zealand Police shared the same goal in spiritual achievement, is the root to encourage the co-operation between civilian and police. With the collbrative of these two NZ’s super brands will help the society of New Zealand achieve stable and release more positive energy.
