New Year’s Greetings Family Visit – BLIA Trustee Han’s Home

On the afternoon of 17th February at 5:00pm, Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Rulian, Venerable Miaoyu, Fo Guang youths, and 50 North and South members arrived at BLIA Trustee Han’s home to give New Year’s Well Wishes. The youths shared a dance performance with everyone, which encouraged everyone to join the action, thus brought immense joy and laughter to this household. Han and family are all Fo Guang members, whom all diligently practiced the Dharma. Her husband Jun Qing Chen usually work long periods abroad, so this caring visit really touched his heart. He thanked the good fellowship provided by the “Fo Guang Big Family”, and gave his appreciations to all the Venerable’s guidance which steered him down the path of right Dharma practice.

The Abbess expressed that Fo Guang people can increase their wisdom and fortune by participating in all activities. Self-reflection can be practiced by observing everyday surrounding conditions, thus changing ourselves; so no matter where we go, we will not forget to be a Fo Guang person with values and good character. The Abbess also encouraged all youths to unleash their talents together, thus putting in the extra mile in preparation for 2013 ANZBYC.
