Visit by Devotees from Guangji Temple Beijing China - Plentiful Harvest from the Hearing the Dharma

The Buddhist Jin Xin Guan and Yuan Zhao are loyal Dharma protectors from the Guangji Temple in Beijing, China. They were led by their New Zealand friend Fang Lian Jiang to visit FGS North Island Temple on 31st May. The visitors were received by Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Rulian and Venerable Miaoyu. They were gifted the books “365 Days for Travellers”, “Hear me out – Words from a humble monk” written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun and the '2016 BLIA New Zealand Activities Report '.

During their talk with the Abbess, Ms Jin Xin Guan said exclaimed that finding a Buddhist temple while overseas felting like coming home. She also talked about her Dharma learnings and how she cherishes the conditions to have knowledge about the Dharma from Buddhism. She tried to fulfill the Dharma in life and work. She always do the best for her friends and family so as to let more people know about the Dharma.

The Abbess expressed that Buddhism is a knowledge of wisdom and the future of Buddhism requires a complete system in education. She thanked Venerable Master Hsing Yun for all the nurturing and teachings to all his disciples, as well as sending them overseas to continue the teachings of Dharma. The Dharma encourages people to be alive at in the present moment. Hence we should always reflect back into our minds and be attentive in daily life, and to treat others with a calm and even mind. Understanding and putting into action are both important in practicing Buddhism. Then life would become meaningful after with the Dharma.
