On 10th March 27 students and teachers from Pakuranga’s Edgewater College visited the Temple. Inside the Main Shrine Venerable Miaoyu shared the story of the Buddha’s enlightenment with the students as well as receiving many questions in return, including:
1. Why do the monks need to shave their heads?
2. What do fruit offerings represent??
To this Venerable Miaoyu replied in humours and practicial manners, which also allowed the students to understand some Buddhist teachings.

Teachers and students were all impressed by this spiritual journey, where tranquillity of the temple and hospitality of the temple allowed everyone to fully observe of Buddhism’s peaceful teachings.
