More Trips to Deliver Copies of “366 Days with Wisdom” to Local Motels

On 20th November, Team Leader Annie Chang and Sub-chapter 4 Chair Annie Ng once again organised two teams to deliver 600 copies of Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s “366 Days with Wisdom” to 25 local motels. It is hoped visitors during the holiday peak season can receive the Venerable Master’s wisdom while staying at these motels.

Team A was composed of Venerable Maioyu, Head Advisor DollyTsai, Annie Chang and youth group member Guowei. During their delivery to the Kiwi Motel, the owner and staff expressed their fondness for the books, which have become their personal choices for some holiday reading. Staff Avishma expressed the entry on 29th December have especially warmed her heart. Along the way a copy of the book was given as a gift to a newly wedded couple.

Team B consisted of Venerable Youcheng, Annie Ng and youth members Essa and Nick. High light of their trip was meeting Owners Coco and Stanely of the Karaka Point Vineyard. The couple and their friend Darren have already visited the temple, during which Coco paid special attention to Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s book “Hear me out, a few word from a humble monk”. Having already read some books by the Venerable Master in Main Land China, she was overjoyed to discover his publications in an overseas country.

Another location team B visited was the Grey Gables, where the owner Karen immediately start to browse the book's contents. She also mentioned that she has attended Venerable Huikai's past Dharma lecture at the temple, which left deep impressions.

Another special mention was 540 Great South Motel, where the owner Jon McMeekin expressed his deep appreciation to BLIA for this good deed. Not only has he shared the books with his friends, he has also copied pages from the book as a gift to comfort his sick friend.

The witness of these reactions have encouraged all the BLIA volunteers and affirmed their faith toward Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s Dharma word’s ability to positively influence internationally.
