Leadership New Zealand Training Courses at Fo Guang Shan North Island – Purifying Human Mind

On 27th March, the not for profit organisation “Leadership New Zealand” held a 2 day workshop at the Temple, which was participated by 35 members.

During the noon break, Venerable Miaoyu and English sub-chapter Volunteer Edward Chang guided the participants on a temple tour, introducing them to the “Way of Life Photographic exhibition” and “Ch’an Heart, Ch’an Art” exhibition. They also introduced ideals of Humanistic Buddhism propagated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun.

The workshop organiser Louise Marra, Director of APO and Policy Advisor, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet; expressed that Fo Guang Shan is the ideal venue of choice for this workshop. She hopes the tranquil atmosphere of the Temple can touch and sooth the heart of the participants, where their thoughts can become liberated. From this people are able to unleash positive energy, develop quiet contemplation and discover the spirit of leadership.
