Appreciation Letter from Girl Guides

Representative of Westburn Guides Girl Guiding New Zealand, Katie Collins who led her team which visited Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island on 26 May, sent an appreciation postcard contained 20 individual signature of the girls that visited the temple on 6 June. They thanked the BLIA members for their hospitality.

In the letter, they mentioned on thanking the temple’s residents for giving the opportunity to learn on Buddhism, meditation and participating in bathing the Buddha event. All the girl guides were delighted and had good time in this meaningful trip and hope to have another opportunity to visit the temple again.

The letter gave warm encouragement and confidence to BLIA members hoping for a better future in propagating Dharma.
