Fo Guang Shan New Zealand Youth Summer Camp - reluctant to say goodbye

Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerables, Stephen Yu (BLIA North Island President), Chongyi Liang and Peggy Zhang (BLIA Advisors), Committee Members, YAD members and over 50 parents gathered at the 15th of January to celebrate the 9th Fo Guang Shan New Zealand Youth Summer Camp closing ceremony.

YAD members having lots of good times during the Summer Camp, which given the space and time to learn. At the closing ceremony, YAD members performed singing and dancing performances, "Try Everything", "Harmonise" and videos.
YAD members learnt a lot from different activities e.g. the slope operation, classes, leading children’s happy camp, fun outings, and serving people during the Reunion Dinner. The Summer Camp allowed YAD members to be collaborating, become more sensible, commitment and growth. YAD members were being recognized by audience with warmly applauded.

Venerable Abbess pointed out learning from each other’s is important. Hence, Fo Guang Shan New Zealand uphold the Summer Camp for teenagers to practice the importance of cultivate endurance, team work, serve the public etc.
YAD members spent a month or 2 with different activities, garden maintenance, environmental clean-up, event planning, tourism training, etc to practice the Summer Camp's philosophy.
