Warm Buddha’s Light Mother’s Day

The month of May gives warmness as it is the month of Mother’s Day. On this sincere day, Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island NZ celebrated “The Grateful Sutra Copying Mother’s Day Celebration”, with around 30 BLIA members on the 9th of May at the Cloud Water Cottage. Devotees with a pious hearts, faithfully scribes in “Prayers for Mothers” written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun.

A short filmed entitled “The most touching Mothers Day, Mum I Love You” was then shown; it shows sweet ways of children saying “I Love You” through the mobile phone. Tears fell as mothers were enjoying this warmhearted film. BLIA South Island NZ President – See Shen Lee, Vice President – Louisa Kuo, Board of Directors – Mei-Hwa Chen, Tracy Chen, Benny Wong, Danny Chen and Zhang Dong shared their Mother’s Day loving stories.

BLIA presented all mums special gifts and had welcomed grand-mummies Madam Wu, Madam Chen and all mums for a cake cutting celebration. The famous “All Mums Are Lovingly Same” song was sung towards the end of the celebration with great memories and an unforgettable Buddha’s Light Mother’s Day.
