TALENT International Institute visited Fo Guang Shan, South Island

On 29 August, TALENT International Institute representative, Angie Meng and Aaron had visited Fo Guang Shan, South Island to discussed on promoting their education system with Fo Guang Shan representative, Ryan Wang. Both Angie and Aaron had a very good impression towards Fo Guang Shan in their past visit to Waterdrop Café and they wished to have further collaboration in the future for education contribution to the society.

Ryan Wang led the tour for Angie and Aaron around the temple, visiting Main Shrine and Traditional Chinese Painting Exhibition by Professor Kuo along with Floral Arrangement by Venerable Abbess Manshin at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery. Angie and Aaron expressed that Fo Guang Shan South Island was not a traditional temple where the building design and façade were modernised yet artistic which they believe it will be a great fun learning curriculum for the students. In addition, the diversity of Fo Guang Shan providing Buddhism knowledge and exploration of artworks through Art exhibition such as Traditional Chinese Painting Exhibition by Professor Kuo to people from all over the world.

Angie and Aaron mentioned that TALENT International Institute will frequently organise outdoor teaching within Christchurch. They are satisfied with the collaboration discussion and looking forward to the TALENT student education tour. They wish to enrich the student knowledge through the positive vibes in the temple giving the students a good ripple effect.
