Successful Marriage Proposal in Water drop Café on 10/10/2020
While Taiwan celebrates their Double Ten National Day, Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island New Zealand also sharing a happy news. Regular customer of Water Drop Cafe, Manpreet Singh proposed successfully to his girlfriend, Chan Sok Wai. She felt touched by his sincerity and accepted his proposal at 10.10 am, 10th October 2020. All the customers, cafe staffs and their friends were surrounded with this happily atmosphere and offered best wishes to them.
Manpreet arranged the marriage proposal silently and wish to give a surprise to his girlfriend. He mentioned that his girlfriend is a Buddhist and this is the reason why he choose to propose here. In the morning, Manpreet first went to the Main Shrine to offer flowers and prayed for Buddha's blessing. The couple were happy with the arrangement and assistance from the FGS staff and hope to come to the temple more often in the future.
Their love story began in a restaurant at Fox Glacier, West Coast of South Island. Now they have settled down in Christchurch and looking forward to build a better future together.
