Lecturer Peter Rood of Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) visited FGS Auckland on 30th June 2022 for his student, Reannn Chang evaluation. The Ministry of FGS Auckland Venerable Rulian and the staff of the Temple welcomed the lecturer warmly. Meanwhile, Reann presented her lecturer with the different desserts she made and the popularity of each product, such as Ginger Slides, Chocolate Cheesecake, Almond Orange Cake, Lamington and Banana Walnut Muffin. Besides selling her desserts in Water Drop Cafe, she also prepared refreshments for special events in the Temple. Peter was proud of her achievement and appreciated Water Drop Cafe for providing a wonderful internship environment.

Before leaving, Peter encouraged Reann to make use of the skills during the internship in order to build a stable foundation for her future. Another lecturer came with Peter which he visited Temple for the first time. He was so enjoyable in the Temple’s peaceful and tranquil environment and hoped to return soon. Reann thanked for her teacher’s guidance and appreciated the Temple giving her a platform to practice and serve. According to Reann, unexpected situations sometimes occur during the baking process. However, she encourages herself that - there is a will, there is a way, to keep practising in order to make the process successful. For Reann, each dessert was prepared with a joyful heart, wishing to fill all the customers with happiness.
