BLIA North Island Members One Day Tour in Tauranga – Embraced with Nature
On 19th April, 48 BLIA Central Sub-chapter members set out for Tauranga for a one day trip led by Venerable Rulian, Venerable Zhiming and BLIA President Dolly Tsai. All Venerable and members were gathered at the Front Shrine. Then Ms Dolly briefed on the itinerary for the day before they in a big coach bus.
The chairperson for the Central Sub-chapter, Ms Peggy planned some quiz and song for this 2 hours bus journey. Thus, the journey was filled with joy and laughter.
It was a gloomy weather on their way, the sky became sunny upon arrival at Waihi, the historic gold mining town. This 1-day trip was began on vintage train ride and spend some time in Waihi.
The group then proceed to Mt Maunganui for their lunch. Thereafter, they walk up to the mountain for a scenic walk. It was a spectacular view watching the wave from the top of the mountain, with an inner peace of the mind and the scenic landscape of New Zealand.
Lastly, the group went to Katikati for the murals (outdoor art) in the township, before heading back to Auckland.
The group was happy and grateful for this trip, because it foster better team work and embraced the scenic natural view of New Zealand.
