Tai chi and Meditation Saturday Service

9 August 2008Seven members joined the Saturday Service this week. Members selected one of the wall plaques, among those that had an English translation, from within the “Fo Guan Shan Ink Rubbings Made from the Hundred Masters Wall Plaque Exhibition Tour,” as their chosen target for motive meditation. Participants were encouraged to understand the deeper meaning of their chosen plaque, beyond the calligraphy itself.
Members gave their appreciation of the Grand Master, who, by providing us with the opportunity to study the Ink Rubbings and calligraphy, gave us further guidance on walking along the Bodhisattva path.
Members shared their understanding and appreciation during discussion and everyone agreed that the proverbs and verses are deeply meaningful and beautiful and that they will each take the essence of their chosen plaque as a guiding compass in their life.
