Inspector Rakesh Naidoo has spent his weekend in Auckland, before going back to Wellington. The monastic has arranged a Q & A session with him and 20 members of the BLIA from New Zealand and Australia, which create an opportunity to learn from Inspector Rakesh.

During the session, he mention he has great passion for his job, and encourage the youth to pursue their career based on their passion. So that every moment at work is enjoyable and any setback will not deter the self-confidence.

Inspector Rakesh mention he has received a rigorous training as a police officer and he is lucky to have a very supportive superior. However, as a leader himself, he needs to set a good example and do the right thing, led the team to accomplish a task.

Other than the leadership qualities, he needs to be sensible and focus on the issue; rather than the person. Inspector Rakesh mention the strength of the faith and wisdom helps him through difficult moments of work. He mentions Venerable Abbess ManShin is a one of his mentor.

Inspector Rakesh mention the police force gave their full support on the ANZBYC and to nurture the youth. The BLIA members were grateful for this session and to learn from his experience.
