Lotus Link Study Group – Rehearse and discussion for various activities

On 9 July, there are nine members of the English Sub-Chapter met together at the Temple in the evening to rehearse two songs for the Sangha’s Day performance. One of the songs was in English and the other in Chinese.
Venerable Miaoyu explained the meaning behind the upcoming Ullambana Festival and Ksitigarbha Dharma Functions to the group. 13 of the members of this Sub-Chapter will be involved in the offering to the Sangha at the Ullambana Festival on Sunday 17th August.
Other topics of discussion are the formation of the Lantern making team for the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 13th & 14th of September and also planning a get-together for all members of English Sub Chapter and Tai Chi & Meditation Saturday Service participants for the 26th July. The group also briefly discussed ideas for a performance for the closing ceremony for the Humanistic Buddhism Study Group which will be in late October or early November.
