President of BLIA appointed as an Justice of the Peace

Peter Young, the President of BLIA has been appointed as an JP on the 8th of July 2008. He was nominated by Venerable Abbess Manshin and Julie Colin (local City Councilor) and appointed by the Botany City Council. Peter has studied hard for 3 years regarding law and order, and has taken the required examinations and made oath to allow him to be invested as an JP.
It is very good news because this means that Peter will help members of BLIA in any situations which require interaction or communication between BLIA and the court or legal system.
