Combined Probus Club of Ponsonby & Ship’n Shore Tours and Cruises Ltd - Temple Visit

On 8 July, around 25 members of the Combined Probus Club of Ponsonby and 30 people from “Ship’n’Shore Tours and Cruises Ltd.” visited the temple. Venerable Miaoyu and Venerable Juehuan welcomed the group and led the Tai Chi & Meditation session for this large contingent. The tour guides were 5 volunteers: Peter Batten, Lesley Ruki-Willison, Pat Wong, Penny Juan and Megan Li.

Each of the visitors is sure to have acquired an improved understanding of the architecture of the temple, its symbolic meaning, and about Buddhism. This is the 3rd group from the “Ship’n’Shore Tours and Cruises Ltd” organisation to have visited the temple. They informed us that the two previous tours had proved very popular, and that their guests had come away with a very positive impression of the temple and FGS. This is the reason they will keep bringing more groups to visit the temple.
