BLIA study group – Do It Immediately

Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) south island New Zealand study group has carry on till the fifth session, on 16th July 10 am BLIA’s director Benny Wong have lead 7 BLIA members to study articles from Venerable master Hsing Yun’s literature – Do it immediately, Fo Guang Shan (FGS) south island New Zealand Supervisor Venerable Jue Xi provided guidance. After study the article, BLIA member shared own experience. Mei-Er share an interesting experience which catch everyone attention: by applying the spirit of “do it immediately”, she helped friend found the lost prayer beads; Sally Lim shared that in some situation, she didn’t completed the thing immediately and make her suffer consequence; President Lee also shared the experience when she travel to Geneva to attend the International Youth Buddhist Conference (IBYC); Louisa shared the result and the difference between do it immediately and not do it immediately while she solved migration issues. Benny shared his experience that the spirit of “live within the moment” is the same spirit of “do it immediately”.

Venerable Jue Xi encouraged everyone should have this spirit, it is due to the planning can’t match with the sudden change. Immediately solving the problem will not left some problem later. Venerable also encourage BLIA member to continue the Study group, it helps the member to understand each other and leant the experience they have and improved self wisdom.
