Hand in Hand, Snow Shoveling!

01 / 08

After snowing for the whole day on 7th of June, Christchurch finally welcomed its first ray of sunlight. People started their routines like usual and the road traffic had just gone back to normal. However, the roads remained slippery and the vehicles were moving at a slow pace. The snow had put on a snowy white coat for Christchurch which makes it even more beautiful, but that comes with a price. Snow shoveling wasn’t really an easy job to begin with.

FGS South Island began its snow shoveling early in the morning when the snow stopped. The weather was great and the progress was encouraging. Everyone contributed selflessly to the mission. As a result, FGS South Island successfully reopened on time and visitors were once again welcomed with open arms. A little winter surprise isn’t too bad after all, don’t you think?
