On 27th April New Zealand South Island youth, Jason Liu who studied in BSc. Electronics had a graduation ceremony. To show appreciation and thankfulness Jason invited Fo Guang Shan New Zealand South Island Temple supervisor, Venerable Jue Xi, and family members and friend together with 10 people to attend his graduation. Buddha Light International Association(BLIA) New Zealand South Island vice president Louisa Kuo and Hans Liu were delightful for seeing their son completing university. Jason’s brother and sister in law, Hiking and Norwind flew from Melbourne to Christchurch for attending Jason’s graduation.

The ceremony started at 10am at Christchurch CBS Arena, when the Chancellor presented the graduating certificate to Jason and when he put on his graduation cap, his family and friends were proud and happy for him.

Jason was thankful and appreciative towards the temple, family and friend’s contributions during his studying period. Also he thanked them for encouraging him and showing support to allow him to graduate smoothly. He also shared joy with Venerable Miao Yu and BLIA South Island New Zealand president See Shen Lee.

Jason hoped that he could use his specialties and continue to serve everyone in the community and temple in the future. Temple supervisor, Venerable Jue Xi encouraged Jason to not forget his initial vow and to wish him to find the most ideal job soon.
