9th April – a Buddhism style wedding for a Sri Lankan couple

A wedding ceremony for Sri Lankan couple was held in the morning. This heartfelt wedding was witnessed by their family members. Venerable Abbess ManShin was the celebrant for this ceremony; the Heart Sutra and a composition of “Prayer for Blissful marriage” were recited in this ceremony. Abbess mention to sustain a marriage, the couple must learn to respect and create a harmonious family.

Thereafter, they proceed to the Water drop tea house for a tea reception. Venerable Abbess ManShin talked about the activities in propagating the Humanistic Buddhism and the Buddha Memorial Centre in Taiwan.

The parent was pleased about this Buddhism wedding ceremony, because they have been searching for a while.
