7th April – Mayor Len Brown paid a visit to FGS

Mayor of Auckland, Mr Len Brown was received by Venerable Abbess Man-Shin, Venerable Man-Wang and Chairperson, Dolly Tsai. He mentioned his last visit to FGS was 2 years ago, he decided to walk in to FGS when he saw the banner on the Buddha birthday’s outside the temple.

Venerable Abbes Man-Shin showed Mr Len Brown around the temple premises and its architecture and the current exhibitions.

Mr Len Brown mention about his invitation by a Taiwan state governor in October 2012, he hopes he will have a chance to visit the magnificent Buddha Memorial Hall.
