6th April - FGS is newsworthy for the "Neighbourhood" by TVNZ
The activities in propagating the Humanistic Buddhism have made FGS newsworthy. Hence the producer from the Statellie Media, Ms Angelique Kasmara paid a visit to FGS on 6th April; was received by a BLIA vice chairperson, Linda Daniell and FGS-Media, Ms Candice. Her purpose of the visit is to produce a documentary “Neighbourhood" which was commissioned by TVNZ.
The "Neighbourhood" will cover stories of the Auckland suburbs on the local communities, will schedule on 26th April on television. Thus Ms Angelique will like to capture the activities on the Buddha day, 15th April; her visit is to gain a better understanding on this event.
Ms Angelique is touched by the idea of multi-culturalism, which is a part of the Humanistic Buddhism. She has been to FGS-Sydney NanTian Temple for a meditation retreat; hence she has the basic knowledge about Buddhism. Ms Angelique hopes more people will benefit spiritually when this documentary is published.
