Buddha's Birthday preparation Meeting

The international Fo Guang Shan(FGS) organization held the third ‘Buddha’s Bathing Day’ meeting in the dining hall at 1pm on the 31st March. There were about 20 FGS members present including Buddha Light International Association (BLIA) president See Shen, and deputy presidents Gina Chen and Louisa Kuo and other staff. The meeting was hosted by See Shen with Venerable Miaoyu present. The team leaders reported their completed tasks over the week. The dharma ceremony group will start setting up the following day. The advertising team reported that ‘The Press’ would display the advertisement on the 7th and 14th April. Other Chinese restaurants and popular Chinese social places would also have posters encouraging people to attend. The Airport pick-up team has already organized the transports for Auckland’s volunteers and Shen-Man college members. The same meeting will be held again next week, in hope to give everyone a joyful surprise on Buddha’s Bathing Day.
