YAD Car Wash Fundraise for the Trip to ANZBYC

In order to raise funds to participate in the 2012 ANZBYC in Perth, by Buddha Light International Association (BLIA) South Island New Zealand Youths Adult Division (YAD) held a car wash on last Saturday and had good results from it. On 17th March BLIA director/ former YAD leader Jason Liu leaded five Fo Guang youths for producing a top service in washing cars for everyone including volunteers and customers. On the day the service was done with two groups, one group did the washing and cleaning of the outside of the vehicle and the other one cleaned and vacuumed the inside of the vehicle. Under the great team work from the YAD members accomplished to clean 4 cars with efficiency and quality and everyone praised on their service. YAD south island member are thankful and appreciating the chance the Fo Guang Shan temple gave them chance to provide such a service to everyone and the support that everyone gave in so that their goal of participating this year’s ANZBYC in Perth Australia.
