The joyous meditation class conducted in English

Venerable Miaoyu will lead a group of 20 English speaking participants for meditation class on every Thursday, from 7:30pm to 9pm.

The lesson usually starts with walking meditation in the courtyard, learning to focus on every movement and breathing. Basic sitting meditation is also covered, from the upright and straight posture, flow of the breathing, contemplation and focus.

These steps have associations with our daily life, where we learned to be mindful at every moment with a positive thinking. These lessons will also help participants to learn and motivate each other.

Participants expressed the positive attributes of mediation where it helps them to relieve stress and become happier. Because of mindfulness, interaction with others has been positive and thoughtful; hence it does improve the quality of life and well-being.
