Appreciation Everyone’s Hardwork with CNY Eve Dinner

Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island NZ invited all its volunteers and staffs for a sumptuous dinner on Chinese New Year’s eve, 22nd January at 5pm in the temple. There were 21 guests in total including Venerable Jue Xi, Venerable Miao Yu, the president and vice president of BLIA and other BLIA volunteers. Abbess Manshin entrusted Venerable Jue Xi to send her regards to everyone and thank everyone for their contribution for year 2011. Abbess Manshin also encouraged everybody to do their best for FGS South Island NZ and Buddhism in years to come while wishing all the volunteers and staffs a good year ahead and an ever-growing wisdom. After the dinner, everyone gathered around and sang New Year’s songs together. The reunion dinner was a success with guests going back home with a smile on their face.
