A heartfelt wedding in FGS – 18th February

The Malaysian bridegroom and a Vietnamese bride invited a total of 160 guests to witness their beautiful and heartfelt wedding at the FGS main shrine. Most of the guests were dressed in their ethnic clothes.

Abbess ManShin was the celebrant of the wedding; the ceremony was conducted in English, with a composition of “Prayer for Blissful Marriage” written by Venerable Master HsingYun. At the conclusion of the service, Abbess advised the couple that to sustain a marriage; they must learn to respect and face adversity together.

At the tea reception, the parents of both parties gave their speeches for the newly wed couple and acknowledged the great effort of the monastery and volunteers in the setting.
