Bodhisattvas and volunteers – 10 February friday
On this beautiful Summer's Friday, at the beginning of the weekend, most people would unwind at a beach, dining, or out with their friends. On the other hand, Summer is also a very good time to work on the garden; hence a group of silent warriors spent their Friday evening at the temple garden, with Abbess and the Venerables, a total of 20 people. These silent warriors were Annie, Karen, Angie, Kenny, Uncle Bang, Madam Zhuan, and the YAD (Young Adults) like Jeremy, Alvin, Anthony and Annjo.
Like a treasure hunt , they sought and removed nasty weeds in the garden, and then transported, deposited and spread new bark to the garden plots where required. The YAD did more agile work, like trimming the bamboo and tree branches. Subsequently, the gardening continued toward the temple fences.
The gardening at the temple has been ongoing since the arrival of Spring, and it has required lot of dedication and hard work by different groups of silent warriors. There are approximately 206 FGS temples in 5 continentals world-wide, and not all the FGS temples have big garden sections like Auckland-NZ FGS, so we all should be very proud to be able to cultivate the garden and ourselves for a positive outcome.

One little word does boundless good.
One little tale gives boundless inspiration.
One little action brings boundless good causes and conditions.
