The joyous Chinese New Year Eve 22nd January

The temple supervisor, Venerable Manwang led devotees in chanting "88 Buddha Repentance Chant" and recite "The prayer for devotees" in the morning dharma service.
She talked about the upcoming Chinese new year activities held in temple and encourage everyone to take part and joined in this auspicious celebration.

Apart from Chinese new year celebration, there are always plenty of visitors. Mr Jenjiran and his family visit the temple, he brought the Thai-rice and vermicelli as his offering. There are 10 types of offering was mention in the Buddhism script: incense, flower, light, body oil, fruit, drinks, treasure,dharma/books and clothes. Currently, Mr Jenjirn run a trading company, where he import a high quality food from Thailand and supply them to restaurants and temples in Auckland.

Abbess ManShin did a guided temple tour and encourage them to visit FGS temple often.
Abbess gave them a caligraphy of the dragon year, "Heavenly Blessing and Protection", written by Great Master HsingYun.

Also Abbess welcome volunteers, Han and her family back from Indonesia, and spend a joyous Chinese New Year in Auckland.
