Annual Chch Interfaith Social Members Meeting

The Christchurch Interfaith Society organized an Interfaith Social Meeting on December 6 at 6.00pm. This annual gathering which was attended by 21 Interfaith Society members, friends and partners took place in Colombo Street where great food was served. Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island Secretary James Low, members Ding Lihson which is also the Council member of the Christchurch Interfaith Society and Feifei Lei represented the Buddhists in this multi-faith gathering. The gathering started with a song which the lyrics were written by Christchurch Interfaith president Derek McCullough alongside the famous “Amazing Grace”. The group then had a talk about different festive cultures and folk tales about the festivals. Following the gathering, everyone had dinner in this wonderful evening. Getting to know more friends from various religious and faith in this day has made everyone warm and happy even it was a rainy evening.
