National Strategic Ethnic Advisor and Assistant Commissioner temple visit.

Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Juehao and two executive members of BLIA had received a casual visit from two very special guests, National Strategic Ethnic Advisor, Sergeant Rakesh Naidoo and Assistant Commissioner, Allan Boreham. Although it is Allan Boreham’s first visit to the temple, he is no stranger to Venerable Abbess Manshin, where they met a few times previously in formal police events.

Venerable Abbes Manshin explained the fundamental concepts of Buddhism whilst conduct a guided temple tour with the visitors on the architecture of the temple and its exhibitions.

Allan Boreham is impressed about the architecture, the landscape of the temple and its tranquillity. In return, he also explains the many different significance of the police cap.

The main purpose of the visit is to assist and advocate policing to the local community. Venerable Abbess Manshin/BLIA was delighted to take this responsibility as this one of the core value of Humanistic Buddhism.
