Induction of Co-Superintendant in Methodist Church
November 15, at 7.30 pm marks the time for the order of service for the induction of Andrew Donaldson as a Co-Superintendent of the Central South Island Synod at the Upper Riccarton Methodist Church. More than 50 members of the Methodist church and members of other faiths attended. Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island upcoming president See-Shen Lee, secretary James Low, members Feifei Lei and Ding Lihson represented the Buddhists in attending this meaningful event.
The event started with greetings by Methodist Minister Reverend Peter Taylor and then followed by prayers and hymns. Andrew Donaldson was then presented to President John where Andrew has been selected by the Synod and appointed by Conference to be a Co-Superintendent of the Central South Island Methodist Synod. The induction then took place with everyone having a happy heart and has hope in him to have a better service of the Methodist church in Upper Riccarton. The BLIA members congratulated Andrew in this religious and harmonious event.
