Cleaning with Spirit of Togetherness

Because of earthquakes and aftershocks, the pond in front of Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island New Zealand has been cracked and leaking all these while. The construction workers and builders have continuously tried fixing the pond and it is able to be used now. On November 9 at 6.00pm, Venerable Miaoyu led Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island upcoming President See-Shen Lee, Young Adult Division (YAD) ex-President Danny Chen with 8 other members and volunteers cleaned the pond so it could be used as soon as possible. It was a rainy day and the water grew cold, but with the spirit of togetherness, everyone helped each other joyfully in a new face of a clean pool.
