Malaysian members Meet South Island temple

Around 20 Malaysian and Indonesian tourists came visiting Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island New Zealand at 2.00 pm on October 30. After more than a week in New Zealand, this group will be flying back to their home country on the same evening they visited FGS South Island. Venerable Miaoyu presided the guests in prostrating to Buddha and made incense offering; later on introduced the design and architecture of the building that all guests were amused of.

In a conversation, a member of Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Malaysia Tianhua Chen expressed that he frequently visit FGS in Klang, Malaysia. His daughter is also a member of the BLIA Young Adult Division (YAD) in Sentul, Malaysia. Venerable Miaoyu then expressed, with a holiday to New Zealand that led these guests into coming to the most southern FGS of the world is a great condition for them. The venerable then continued in encouraging everyone to visit to more FGS monasteries, learn the way of a Buddhism life and plant good seeds for their selves. In the end, the guests were thanked in visiting the temple bringing valuable knowledge and teachings with them.
