Congratulations to the All Blacks Rugby World Cup 2011 Champion

"The fruit of success taste sweetest after a tough journey." This phase does aptly describes the well deserved glory for All Blacks as well as the supporters and first time in 24 years.

Since the Rugby World Cup (RWC) on 9th September 2011, it has been a long and weary journey for All Blacks and its supporters, 48 matches within 45 days. The elite were selected to compete and rugby is a game that is physically and mentally demanding. All Blacks had won; it was a tough match as all main players were injured, with a score of 8-7, France team got the second position of 2011 RWC. All Blacks had finally cleared their angst since the last match lost to France in the quarter-final in 2007, and to Australia in 2003 in semi-final.

In due to RWC, Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple (FGS) had included all cups imprinted with individual players of All Blacks on the altar during the Medicine Buddha Dharma function. Venerable Abbess Manshin has to commute between Christchurch and Auckland via Air NZ for activities and ceremonies. During these trips, she only managed to collect a couple of imprinted All Blacks cups ; however, when she mention about the biggest lamp was lighted for All Blacks in FGS , North Island , the spontaneous hostess helped to complete her collection to be placed for prayer.

To celebrate this victory, Auckland Queen Street was closed for a parade on 24th October 2011, followed by Christchurch on Tuesday and Wellington on Wednesday. Congratulations to the All Blacks Rugby World Cup 2011 champion, the Water Drop Café of FGS was open on 24th October 2011 during public holiday, from 11am to 2 pm, offered half price on all food and beverages .
