To light biggest Medicine Buddha's lamp to All Blacks
On 16th October 2011, supports for both sides had filled up Eden Park as well as the nationwide fan zones. It was a stressful time for All Blacks since they lost the quarter-final match in the last Rugby World Cup to the French; as well as lost to the Aussie in the Trans-Tasman rugby league several months ago.
There has been more well-wishers contributing more money the next day towards another Medicine Buddha lamp, after they read about the daily news dated 15th October. To fulfil the well-wishers' hopes, Fo Guang Shan Temple has decided to light the biggest lamp before the match in the evening.
It was a tough match; All Blacks indeed had played well in their attack and defence, have demonstrated great team work. As a result, they have made it to the Final with a score of 20-6. Fans had celebrated the victory nation-wide and look forward to the outstanding performance on 23rd October against the French.
