Preparation for the Children from the Young Adults

In preparation of the annual the 2011 Heart of a Child event, Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Young Adult Division (YAD), South Island members started at 3.00pm of October 1 to make sure programs of the event comes safe and full of meaning. YAD President, Hao-Tin Lin and members had carefully planned and had a run-through of the games for the day. All members that day will have to know how to lead the children safely in cracking puzzles and finding treasures. The run-through has also been supervised by advisor Benny Wong that brought all precaution steps more fun and laughter.

At the end, Temple Supervisor, Venerable Juexi and the YAD members discussed the motive of this “Heart of a Child” event, where it is to help children in learning the importance of teamwork, compassion and tolerance that could be empowered to adopt a joyful attitude towards life.
