Compassionate with the Young Adult Group

In conjunction with the theme of “Environmental and Spiritual Preservation” from the 2011 International Buddha's Light Young Adult Executive Conference, with the lead of Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Young Adult Division (YAD) South Island President, Hao-Tin Lin, and Venerable Miaoyu, 10 members from the of YAD South Island went for a walking trip to Monavale garden and lake through Matai St. West. Monavale Garden is a Victorian styled garden with classic English environment. A lot of locals enjoy sunbathing and have walks there. The YAD members went there to feed the ducks with bread, played with them and enjoyed the day with nature. There, the members have learned to be compassionate and to have the heart of observance, and they wished the ducks would be healthy and free always.
