Gaowei Hu and his brother were members of the BLIA Young Adult Division (YAD) around 10 years ago. Gaowei and his wife, Hezi Fu got married at the FGS South Island 2 years ago in a Buddhist ritual wedding ceremony where they invited Venerable Abbess Manshin. They currently have a daughter.

Venerable Abbess Manshin chanted the sutras of “Universal Gate of the Bodhisattva”, “Avalokitesvara / Kuan Yin Bodhisattva” and others with the purification ceremony. Venerable Abbess Manshin then gave advice to the couple with Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s words of wisdom, with “Skillful Wisdom and Enlightened Mind” and “An Intellectual talk with Master Hsing Yun” as topics in building their family. They should learn about Buddha’s spirit, have a skilful wisdom, a clear mind and get along with the society in life. Other BLIA members also shared their grateful experience in the Oceania Secretariat Meeting that happened previously in Sydney, Australia that gave life a pleasant surprise and rich colours in facing challenges.
