Sunday Buddhist College Studies about Karma
Continuing the Sunday Buddhist College Winter Class, Reverend Juexi and 30 students assembled at Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island on July 24 even the weather is freezing outside. The class continued with the subject “Triple Robe”; and the meaning and benefits of offering a Kasaya. The importance of the alms bowl were also taught in the class, hence, it finished the title of the “Triple Robe and Alms Bowl”.
Continuing the class, Reverend Juexi has also lectured about “Three Periods of the Dharma” and “Three Life Karma”. Here, the class learned about “The True Dharma Age”, “The Dharma-Similarity Age” and “The Dharma-Ending Age”. Futhermore, “Past Karma”, “Present Karma” and “Future Karma” were also understood by the class. At the end of the class, Reverend Juexi advised the class to live in the present, create a diligent value of life and study the teachings of Buddha with the best manner.
